NOTE: For all corporate and party packages, participants can choose between Marbled or Swirled Patterns or Solid Colours. These options do not involve any sanding.Then, add a resin layer featuring either pressed flowers or a single layer of beach waves.

An additional charge of $15 applies if you wish to add a second layer of beach waves or any other resin work involving a second layer.

• Base Layer: The Jesmonite base provides a solid, durable foundation with options for various textures and colors.
• Resin Layer: The top layer of resin can incorporate vibrant colors, intricate patterns, or clear finishes to encapsulate decorative elements.

Types of Coasters

1. Solid Jesmonite Base with Resin Overlay: The base is made from Jesmonite, while the top layer features resin art, such as swirls, marbling, or embedded objects.
2. Embedded Elements: Small objects like metallic flakes, flowers, or stones can be embedded in the resin layer, creating a three-dimensional effect.
3. Terrazzo Effect: Jesmonite with terrazzo chips combined with a clear or tinted resin layer to enhance the visual depth.

Crafting Process

1. Design and Mold Preparation: A mold is chosen or created for the desired shape and size of the coaster.
2. Mixing Jesmonite: Jesmonite powder is mixed with a liquid polymer. Pigments can be added for color.
3. Pouring the Base: The Jesmonite mixture is poured into the mold and left to set.
4. Adding Resin Art: Once the Jesmonite base is cured, resin is mixed with desired pigments and effects. It is then carefully poured or manipulated on top of the Jesmonite base.
5. Curing: The resin is allowed to cure completely, which can take several hours to days depending on the type of resin used.
6. Finishing Touches: After curing, the coaster is demolded. Any necessary sanding or polishing is done to achieve a smooth finish.

Workshop Duration: 

1 – 1.5 hr (depending on pace of attendees).

1 day workshop with 60min activity time in which 30-35min wait time for the coaster to set in the mould.

Participants who have resin art experience might take a shorter time to complete, upon full payment you will receive the unit number.

After the workshop concludes, you can take your artwork with you immediately. However, if you’re unable to take it at that time, you have the option to self-collect it later. Alternatively, I can arrange for delivery for an additional $5 for packages weighing up to 5kg and with dimensions (length + breadth + height) totalling up to 150cm and it will be delivered within 3 working days. Should you desire additional finishing touches such as removing resin drips and sanding the artwork, there will be an extra charge of $10 per artwork. All participants can enjoy 10% off art supplies (except promotional items) on the day of the workshop.
