• Gather Your Supplies:
  • UV resin (the star of the show!)
  • Silicone keychain moulds (choose your favourite shapes!)
  • Decorative goodies: pressed flowers, glitter, charms – let your imagination run wild!
  • UV lamp (to cure your resin creations)
  • Keychain hardware (rings and chains to attach your masterpiece)
  • Mixing sticks and small cups (for mixing magic)
  • Tweezers (for precise placement)
  • Gloves and a protective work surface (safety first!)

Steps:

• Prep Your Crafting Zone:

  • Lay down a protective sheet to catch any spills (because accidents happen!).
  • Ensure good ventilation (resin fumes can be strong).

• Design Time!

  • Choose the pressed flowers, glitter, charms, or other treasures you’d like to showcase in your keychain.
  • Get creative! Use tweezers for precise placement and experiment with different layouts.

• Mix the Magic Potion (Resin):

  • Pour a small amount of UV resin into a mixing cup.
  • Feeling fancy? Add some colour pigments or glitter to the resin and mix well.

• Pour with Care:

  • Carefully pour the mixed resin into the mould, making sure it fills all the nooks and crannies and covers your decorative elements.

  • Place the mould under a UV lamp and cure the resin according to the manufacturer’s instructions (usually just a few minutes).

• Time to Un-mould!

  • Once the resin is completely cured, gently remove your keychain from the silicone mould.

• Attach & Admire (Hardware):

  • If your mould doesn’t have a pre-made hole, use a small drill or sharp tool to create one.
  • Proudly attach your keychain ring and chain to your finished piece using pliers.
